Once you’ve finished testing in Sandbox, and have been approved by the Sardine team to go into production, here are some of the things to come in mind

Risk SDK Integration on Mobile!

If you have integrated Sardine’s on-ramp in your mobile app, confirm that the Risk SDK is funcioning properly with your Integration Manager before progressing forward

1) Ask for Production keys

When ready to go live with the on ramp, convey the following information to your Integration team

  • Go live date
  • All payment methods that should be enabled
  • Payment method to be set as default

Additionally, if you are receiving a rebate from Sardine, you will need to double check

  • Rebate percentage
  • Bank account information for rebate funds to be wired into. Sardine will send your rebate amount on a monthly basis

The Integration team will then set up the right configurations and issue you new API credentials, clientId and clientSecret

Replace your current clientId and clientSecret with the newly issued production ones

2) Change urls

There are two sets of urls that will need to be updated

a. All API calls to https://api.sandbox.sardine.ai should now point to https://api.sardine.ai

b. The checkout url should be updated https://crypto.sardine.ai instead of https://crypto.sandbox.sardine.ai

Webhooks

Ask your Integration Manager for production webhooks to be created for all live traffic

3) Testing the flow

In production, real identities and payment methods will be needed for successful transactions. Sardine recommends having at the very least the following

  • Valid ID and SSN
  • Valid US address
  • Valid bank account with sufficient balance (for paying by ACH)
  • Valid card (for paying by card)

Successful transactions will result in crypto appearing in user’s wallet.

Employee allowlists

Sardine can allowlist employees using their work email to do production testing. To do so

  1. Ask employee testers to sign up for Sardine using their work email
  2. Conduct a transaction. If it gets blocked or denied that is expected as Sardine has very rigorous fraud checks
  3. Let the Sardine integration team know the emails of the employees who have created accounts
  4. Pending a compliance review, Sardine will allowlist those users

4) Dashboard access

Sardine provisions a dashboard to view live transactions.

Once a successful production transaction has occured, send the emails of personnel who would need access to the dashboard to the integration team

All live transactions conducted going forward will show on the dashboard
